PixelPilot
receiver resources.

An Android receiver and display application maintained by the OpenIPC community for H.264/H.265 streams carried over wfb-ng.

Compatibility is not assumed. A supported video codec alone does not establish radio-protocol compatibility. ZYRO has not published a verified model-by-model PixelPilot compatibility list.

Check the complete chain.

Receiver software, adapter and transmitter must be compatible as a system.

01

Transmitter protocol

Confirm the transmitter actually uses a PixelPilot-compatible wfb-ng stream, not merely H.264 or H.265 encoding.

02

Android device

Check the device architecture, USB host support and processing capacity against the upstream release.

03

USB radio adapter

Verify the exact adapter hardware ID. The upstream project documents rtl8812au and rtl8812eu support.

04

Configuration

Confirm receiver keys, radio settings, video playback and DVR behavior in a bench test before flight.

PixelPilot belongs to OpenIPC. Read the original ZYRO community note ↗ for its dated compatibility guidance.

Archived Wiki observation, 12 September 2026: the supplied note recorded v0.25.0 as the upstream “Latest” release on that date. Check the upstream release page for the current version before installing.
